The City Mini is an ordinary full-size stroller. It's best known for being lightweight and compact. It also does well in all our categories, although it's not as well as some of the other models due to a poorly placed peek-a-boo window and storage that's a bit blocked.
However, this is an excellent stroller, and one of our top choices for families who require something that can get them through daily use and occasional adventure. It has a pretty wide footrest and is cushioned, so little ones will be comfortable. The seat reclines pretty flat, but it took us pushchairs two hands to do. The adjustable calf support is a nice feature that will allow your child's feet to kick up when they are tired.
Like the other strollers we have reviewed The City Mini has a huge canopy that is UV50 and that parents rave about. The sun shade is designed elegantly and can be pulled completely down. This is great as it will protect your child from the sun without the need to constantly put the shade back in place.
The City Mini can be easily transformed into a double-stroller simply by attaching an add-on kit. You can use any Baby Jogger car-seat and create a travel system right from the beginning. The only downside to this is that the addition of a second seat changes the look and feel of the stroller and some parents may be a bit hesitant to navigate once they've gotten used to it.
Another option to the City Mini is the City Mini GT Double Stroller. It is a bit more expensive than the single City Mini but it does include additional features, including "forever air" rubber suspension and tyres that make it suitable for off-roading. It also comes with an adjustable handlebar and hand-operated parking brake. This makes it more user-friendly than the standard City Mini.
